Question: Hi Jan, what is your advice when it comes to switching sectors? I want to enter Al and ML but I come from a different field and have horrible Impostor syndrome so I’m afraid to even speak with my manager.
Answer: At one point or another, we’ve all felt like a fraud. Whether it’s during a job interview, while giving a presentation, or simply going about our day-to-day lives, impostor syndrome can strike at any time. For me, it often crops up when I’m working on something outside of my comfort zone. And although it can be tempting to shy away from these challenges, the best way to conquer impostor syndrome is to face it head on.
